<p>I'm really interested in pursuing both majors but can only choose one? Help!</p>
<p>If possible, take a broader journalism major. You’d be limiting yourself far too early in your career. Remember too that you don’t even need to be a journalism major to be a journalist. Nor does a journalism major tie you to being a journalist. </p>
<p>Get involved in your college’s newspapers, tv and radio stations and see which you prefer. Get experience and articles/ clips to build up a portfolio for graduation. Make contacts in your field once you have a preference.</p>
