How do i concinve my parents to let me apply to a Boarding school?

Well, every time I tell my parents about boarding school, they always say the money. Then I say that there is aid.But they say that aid does nothing. But I've done so much research about these schools, way more than my classmates.I don't want to go to far, just on the East Coast, like Exeter,Or Suffield, and even Andover.I'm going to the 8th grade, and i have grades ranging form B+ - A. So how do I convince them?

When I told my parents that I wanted to go to boarding school they didn’t take me seriously because there was no way we could of afforded boarding school without some financial help. When they started reading online about the schools they realized that all of the schools I would be applying to offered enough financial aid for me to go to boarding school and for us not to cut back on spending.

Every parent is different, if their biggest problem with boarding school is money than show them the financial aid packages. Some of the schools can even give you an estimate based on your family income. Here is a link to info on Exeter financial aid [Phillips Exeter Academy |](http://www.exeter.edu/admissions/1286.aspx). Try and get your parents to at least find out about the different amounts of finical aid and what your family is likely to get. Then you can see whether your family can afford boarding school.
