Any suggestions on how to cram for verbal? im taking practice tests and currently getting 650-670 and i need to pump those numbers about 30 pts(if thats possible)
besides getting lucky on the test what are some ways to add a few more points in a week or so.. my worst part is analogies(like 3-5 wrong) medium part is cr(3-5 wrong) i get maybe 1 or 2 wrong on sc

At this point in time, I would recommend studying the tips/strategies for doing well on verbal. I had about a week left to prepare for the November SAT so I decided that trying to cram in some vocab would be futile.
I used the verbal tips from Kaplan 1600 and in the end my verbal increased by 90 points while my math stayed the same :*( . If you get the book, read and learn from ALL of the verbal chapters and go through ALL of the verbal questions. Good luck!

You should be able to increase your score if you peruse some vocabulary lists and do some practice CR sections out of the 10 Real SATs. You could also pick up Bill Buckley's lexicon, which has a bunch of good SAT-type words, and has examples of usage, as well as pictures, that'll help you remember the words.

i don't know if this'll work for everyone but about a week before the SAT I started doing vocab from the princeton review GMAT book...the words were a bit harder but i actually saw two of the them on my actual test..!!

From June to November I didn't really prepare at all.. and I increased 90 points.

For analogies, know the common words and get a feel for ETS like questions. If you understand "how" they write their analogies, you can usually eliminate a lot of the choices instantly. Just go through 10 RS and look at all their analogies.

For CR.. Just read more.. That's what I did. It helps a ton -- seriously.
