I have been very proactive in my college search and have an almost set list of schools. Except, not I'm realizing that besides viewbooks I've made very little contact with these schools. Although, there are some exceptions. But for the non-exceptions, I realize I REALLY need to demonstrate more of an interest.

I can't visit because my parents don't want to pay travel expenses for all my colleges.

*how do I demonstrate interest in a college if I CAN'T visit

wow, that's a big mistake. sorry.

you could send the schools emails asking them any questions you have and explain why you cant visit, but before you choose a school to attend you should definitely have seen the campus at least once

Get on their mailing lists, ask for information directly from the school, visit a college fair and sign in at their table, look to see if admissions reps will be anywhere in your area that you could get to.
