I’m still a junior but I’ve been researching UF admissions for quite a while. I noticed that they like it if you demonstrate interest towards their school, but how am I supposed to do that? Off the top of my head, I can only think of attending a university tour, but do they even ask for your name to record for future reference? Any recommendations?
Do you think it would help if I applied the day the application came out or is the date of application not considered at all?
Email. Some schools have a mailing or emailing list that you can join.
You register online when making your reservation for the tour. They also check you in at the tour. They do save your information when you make an official tour of the campus.
The best way is to attend one of the tours. They do track that you attended. Otherwise UF doesn’t do much with “demonstrate interest”. Some schools track how often you visit their website, UF doesn’t do anything like that…
Good Luck!
