I have an extracurricular activity with a very long name, multiple leadership positions, state/national awards, etc.
The problem is that there are word limits for both the activity title and description, and I feel like I can’t do this activity justice by only covering half of what I have achieved through it (because this activity is the one that I have been most involved in by far!). I want to include all of my former positions and current leadership positions especially since each one had its own specific duties and it shows my dedication to the organization throughout the years, but should I only include my current positions for the sake of conciseness?
Or should I split up my various leadership positions in this organization into separate “activities”?
For example, it would be something like:
Activity 1 - Title: “State VP - Organization One,” Description: “blah blah”;
Activity 2 - “State Council Director - Organization One,” Description: “blah blah”;
Activity 3 - “District Reporter - Organization One,” Description: “blah blah”;
Activity 4 - “President - Organization Two,” Description: “blah blah,” etc.
Or should I just try to use lots of abbreviations in the description for just one activity?
For example:
Activity 1 “Organization One,” Description: “State VP. State Council Director. Former District Reporter. 3x Chapter Officer. Multiple state awards, one national award.”
