How do I eliminate careless errors on physics tests

I just lost 20 points on my last physics test because of making stupid careless mistakes

how can i cut down on these

I’m not helping, but I got two questions wrong on my last chemistry test because I misinterpreted sulfate to mean sulfide

Concentrate.

my teacher doesn’t give partial credit

on one question i thought it asked to find the maximum height, it turned out that it asked for the Range the object traveled

another question asked about the centripital acceleration of somebody on the equator of the earth. i thought it said angular acceleration

I always underline and plainly write out what’s being asked because I always end up skimming the question and not paying attention. Doing the above cuts down on that.

But seriously, some of those question are too damned detailed. I don’t need to know what color Johnny’s pants are and that he bought them from Old Navy.

Check your answers, remember to read each question in its entirety.

what if there’s not enough time to check my answers

get faster.

Or learn to manipulate the strands of time.

^Dammn. If you could do that, most physics teachers would probably give you an A outright.

^
B+, maybe

^um, more like F because that is physically impossible and einstein says so

Pfft. What does Einstein know?

everything that you dont
muahahahahahha

^ For serious. You wouldn’t manipulate the strands of time, but rather your passage through it. That’s much more feasible.

Spend about 3 seconds more on each question than you normally do.

yep…cuz you can just go…
3 mississippi- 2 mississippi- 1 mississippi
and voila! mistakes are gone

Focus. Read the question. Understand the question. No skimming! Read it again.
