I know BU and NYU have a general studies program which features a 2 year "college within a college", small classes, close advisor relationships, specific curriculum, extra help etc. I am dying to find other colleges with the same or similar program. My daughter has ADD and would really benefit from this type of program.

According to this fairly old NYT article, there are similar programs at Kentucky, American, and Texas A&M, among ‘dozens’ of others.

I suppose that’s a start.

Northeastern U has a good and smaller program than Boston U.

There are colleges such as Ohio Wesleyan that have an excellent reputation for providing help and support for intelligent students with learnng disabilities. You might want to check them out.

tons of colleges have this, just a hint, don’t go to BU for general studies, it’s a waste of your money
