I'll be majoring in computer engineering and here are the list of requirements Bourns College of Engineering:

I couldn't find details about many of the classes from the UCR Schedule of Classes page. I don't know if I'm using it correctly though.

For example, I was trying to find out more information about ENGR 001G. So I entered ENGR 001G into the Course# section and clicked search. But it said No Records Found.

Please help!

On the schedule of classes, it would be best to just look up the subject in the “Subject Area” field. For ENGR 001G, you would just look up “Engineering.” Most of the subject areas in the drop down list are fields that have their own section in the course catalog detailing classes they offer.

Even then, you won’t actually find too much information about what the actual class teaches using the Schedule of Classes. In that case, you would look up the class in the catalog: [UC Riverside - General Catalog](<a href=“The Office of the Registrar | UC Riverside”>http://catalog.ucr.edu/)

Even though your major is Computer Engineering, there are no actual classes with that abbreviation; you take some Engineering (ENGR) classes, some Computer Science (CS) classes, some Physics (PHYS) classes, etc.

For example, ENGR 001 (E-Z) is listed in the catalog under Engineering:
ENGR 001 (E-Z). Professional Development and Mentoring (1) Activity, 30 hours per quarter.
Prerequisite(s): freshman standing in the Bourns College of Engineering. Provides freshmen with involvement in professional development activities. Activities to be performed are program-specific, and may include projects, industry overviews and interactions,
involvement with professional societies and clubs, team building, career guidance, and coverage of ethics and lifelong learning issues. E. Bioengineering; F. Chemical Engineering; G. Computer Engineering; I. Computer Science; J. Electrical Engineering; K. Environmental Engineering; M. Information Systems.
