how do i find out if SB recieved AP scores from previous years?

Does anyone know which # to call or if I can email someone to find out if they received my junior year English AP score so i can be waived for the writing placement?

Admissions 631-632-6868

UG Transfer Office: 631-632-7028

I also noticed this morning that in the advising form on the Solar system (the form you are supposed to fill out prior to the 1st orientation) they have listed the official scores from previous years. Although I can't remember if I actually told them the scores or if I told them the tests I took and they filled in the scores. However, I was looking because my orientation is this Thursday and I just found out via grades by phone that I scored high enough on the AP Calculus exam to pass out of the math placement and when I called the orientation folks to tell them I wouldn't be taking the exam, they informed me that although they don't have the official scores they are able to see them and they confirmed that I was all set for the math. You can also call the College Board folks and confirm that AP scores were sent -- they can tell you if you requested them to be sent and Stony Brook receives them electronically. Also, although I scored high enough on the AP English, the pre-advising form indicated that it was my combined SAT scores that passed me out of that exam as well. Check the Solar or give the folks above a call to be sure.
