How do I get an interview?

<p>I can’t find on the Brown website how to get an interview… help?</p>

<p>I don't think they do them on campus; just volunteer alumni; probably you'll be contacted by someone if you have an app in.</p>

<p>An alumni in your area will contact you after Brown sends your information along. Give them time; if you don't hear in the next two weeks, then you may want to call the admissions office to see if everything is alright.</p>

<p>Since the write-ups are due on Dec. 1, I'd contact Brown if you haven't heard from an alum by Nov. 20.</p>

<p>this is happening to me, too. i e-mailed the admissions office and they sent me back a rather generic message, telling me that a lack of an interview will not be a detriment to the my application....but i really want one! from so cal, i'm sure there are plenty of alumni here...</p>

<p>It's true, and the interviewer will tell you if you sit down with one that it's more for your own information and to put a face on the school, rather than for the school's assessment of your application.</p>

<p>I believe they meant write-ups for interviewers to send to the brown administration.</p>

<p>keep in mind that because interviews are only done by alumni, if you live in an area that has few/none you probably wont be contacted but it never hurts to call and confirm</p>

<p>notrojansno, first i would try calling brown admissions, and if they don't help you, i would try contacting your local brown club: Brown</a> Club of Southern California</p>

<p>Alumni interviewers must submit their write-ups for Early Decision applicants by Dec. 1; Regular Decision write-ups are due March 1. Any ED students who haven't gotten an interview and want one should contact admissions this week. Regular decision applicants shouldn't worry about not being contacted until early February.</p>

<p>Don't contact the Brown Club. Brown Clubs do not handle alumni interviews.</p>
