<p>I don't expect to, nor do I care to, work at a bulge bracket investment bank. I'm not a superstar student, and I don't want to work 100 hours a week. However, I would like to get my CFA, simply because I would like to be a independent personal financial advisor, specializing in cross border situations for American immigrants to Canada. That means I need 4 years of relevant work experience. How do I get 4 years of work experience as an analyst/financial manager? It doesn't need to be glamorous, it just needs to qualify for the sake of getting my charter.</p>
<p>I think you can probably work in corporate finance for a F500 or something....</p>
