I’ve watched plenty of videos on YouTube but almost everyone accepted are very special people with special talents. I don’t have any of that. I’m interested in healthcare, so is there anything I can do to add a spike to my application? NYU is my dream school and I really want to get in, so any advice would be super helpful. Thank you!!
Your resume looks reasonably good for NYU, depending what school you’re aiming at, maybe some healthcare focused ECs if that’s your aim. So write good essays, and good luck!
I think you are a good candidate for NYU. Of course, it’s not a sure thing, but your stats look good. You have a solid app. Because of its selectivity, i would classify it as an obtainireach for you.
You can improve the odds by applying ED.
One thing about NYU, that should not be overlooked is its price tag. Have you discussed what with your parents what they are willing to contribute for your college. We are talking close to the $80k per year here, and it’s very easy to go over, when you live in Manhattan. So much to do … and spend. NYU does not guarantee to meet financial need, and the chances of merit money are not good.
It’s important you have a good solid, affordable safety school, do do not overlook that most important part of your college search.
