<p>Ok I might be within the top 20% of my graduating class and am planning to get at least one publication. G.P.A: 3.93 and will be able to get funded/sponsored from my home country. How do I improve my chances of getting in? I 've heard you need to have like around 3-5 publications to have a good chance!</p>
<p>The thing that attracts me to the MIT program is the fact that you can minor in 3 courses not related to your major. But I take it that these will have to aid your research in some way or another?</p>
