How do I get Texas residency??

<p>I live with my mom in Oklahoma but I want to go to college in TX where my dad lives. What can I do to be a TX resident (again)??</p>

<p>You need to check the websites of each of the public colleges and universities in TX that you will be applying to, and see what their policies are. Each of them might have a different policy. </p>

<p>In some cases, students can qualify as in-state residents because they have a parent living in that state even if that is not the parent they live with. Find out if that is possible for you.</p>
