I've played around with the Capital Metro website and looked at all the maps, and I still don't know how to get to Wal Mart in under an hour. Anyone?

I think the closest you’re going to get to walmart is by taking the 1L bus from campus down to congress and ben white… then you’d have to walk the rest of the way. The bus ride is about 30-45 minutes, not sure about the walk.

The only way to get to Walmart in under an hour is if you have a car.

We always go to the Wal-Mart straight north I 35.

4.2 miles from UT. That could also be a pretty quick cab ride, but life would be easier if you could find a friend with a car.

From UT, Target is more bus friendly than Wal-Mart.

There is a bus that supposedly drops you off behind a target but I have never been on it and I’m not sure how you would get back or anything. The UT transportation site lists it I think in the place where it says how to get to the malls.

My friends and I usually go to whole foods for food (expensive if you don’t limit yourself) or if we go to Target we go to a new one on the bus that is kinda far and is near a bunch of other stores and we couldn’t go to otherwise but it’s far so you most likely wouldn’t want to go there your first few times on the bus. xD
