How do I improve my score by 100 points in a month?

Hey guys so I took my first SAT March 2013 and I got an 1890. I got a 550 CR, 700 Writing, and 640 Math. I then worked all of the summer on my vocab with the Direct Hits books and on my math with a tutor and I raised my score this past October to a 2040 with 650 CR, 720 Writing, and 670 Math.
Is there anything you guys suggest for me to do in order to raise my score to the 2100 range by the December test? I would like to mainly raise my CR and math score.

Maths is your way to a 2040. It’s the easiest of the 3 subjects to raise. I raised it from a 660 to an 800 as of today. Get some specialized maths books and maybe a tutor.

did you use any specific books to raise your math score?

Math and Writing are probably your best options. Only thing is I think math you are always prone to make a careless mistake because a math problem involves multiple steps while writing is simply recognizing an often obvious grammar mistake and thus easier to improve(atleast in my opinion).

Try improving the math, I feel like CR is kind of based on luck. I scored a 800 in October SAT and I guessed on so many. Or if you’re going to try to raise your CR score, do a lot of blue book SAT practice tests for CR and make vocabulary notecards. The good thing is that missing a few in CR won’t damage your score as much as it will in math and writing. Good luck!

Well, for me I already knew all the concepts (Minus having to brush up on some geometry) so what I needed to do was to focus on not making careless errors as I was constantly making 3-5 mistakes each practice test. My friend used Dr John Chung’s SAT Maths which seems to be pretty good.

thank you all so much for the help!
