How do I interpret these two score?

So, I took a practice test yesterday and scored a 1990. After very minimal prep, I took another one today and got a 2240. I realize this is a HUGE difference, and I'm a bit confused as to what my true score actually is. Can anyone give some insight on what may be the cause of this enormous gap between scores?

Btw, both tests were official practice tests. One was the practice test found on the collegeboard website and the other was a practice test from the official sat online course.

It’s a very small sample size but it should be the range in which you will score, with an upside bias for all additional study and practice.

If these were your first 2 practices, you should not be surprised at all. You just get familiar with the test format and timing after the first one. On the other hand, there is always a 100 points or so fluctuation from practice to practice. You would need to do more practice tests until you reach a more or less consistent level or plateau.
