How do I know whether DD is accepted

From everything I read, UA decision is quick.
myBama shows application, transcript and ACT received, but we have been receiving mail suggesting to apply for scholarship and attending the online info session. We started the online scholarship application, but didn’t finish as we thought it would not apply to us. Will it be a reason?

I hope to know early to apply for honor college. We applied early but the transcript was sent late.
