How do I know which classes from a 4 yr college will transfer to a UC?

I'm going to a CCC this summer and for the next year so that I can transfer to a UC. But I have 2 semesters worth of units from a CSU and I don't know which classes will transfer.

Have your counselors, or preferably an admissions counselor from your preferred UC take a look at the courses you’ve taken. They’ll have to pull up the description of the course from your CSU’s catalog. From that, they will be able to give you a general idea of what will/will not transfer, but nothing is set in stone until individual departments and evaluators do the actual evaluation. :)

Greetings,

I attended an out of state four year, moved back to California, have been taking classes at the cc level, and wanted to know who I can talk to about calculating my transferable GPA. I spoke to my UCI Evaluator and she was in the middle of reviewing my application. Once my classes are evaluated for tranfer, do you think she would be able to tell me my transferable GPA or is there another way to find out my transferable GPA?

i can help you.

which CSU is it? and to which UC do you want to attend?

Its an out of state four year, Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana. Then I went to CCC for 3 semesters.

And I want to go to UCI

Sounds like you cant help me or you need help on the same topic. Thanks anyway.

is this a joke? that is what YOU said, I’m just quoting you. you are talking about courses from a CSU, but you’re talking about UCI & Purdue.

Where does the CSU come in?

The op is briane77; s/he went to a CSU. You responded to aaespino20.

@chen ^^ those are two different people. the second one never said he/she was attending a CSU. lol.

oh crap, i’ve been bamboozled.

aaespino20, can you please create your own thread and not hijack OP’s. I got super confused.

thanks eleph and uht.

Srsly. This is why we don’t hijack threads with unrelated questions.

UCkittychen: I go to CSU Stanislaus. I want to transfer to either UCSB or UCSD.

[Welcome to ASSIST](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST)

has all course and equivalency

all ucs/csus are listed there.

I know what assist is. It doesn’t work from CSUs to UCs. It only works from a CCC to CSU or UC.
