Hi I want to get into contact with my admissions officer and I was wondering how you find out who it is. The letter is just addressed to the dean of admissions, who i doubt was the one who actually read my application. Thanks!

I’m not sure what you mean by “admission officer”, but if you mean “regional rep”, UVA does not have these. Any Dean will be able to take your question or letter.

Hope I could help

Actually, the Dean of Admission probably was one of the readers for your file! :)

actually i think you referred to the person as my “decision dean” If the letter i read online was signed by someone with a specific name, do i assume that is my decision dean? Mine was Greg roberts, but it said dean of admissions so I wasnt sure if he was the one who actually read my application or if he was just the one in charge of the whole process.

Greg Roberts is the Dean of Admission. His signature is on all letters.

“Decision Dean” is just an office term for someone who is taking calls (we all take turns being the Dean on call). You aren’t assigned to anyone. Where did you hear the term? We don’t really use it outside of our office. :)
