Should I just write a description of what I did ? Short(a line) or long(in depth)? Or just a broad 2 word response. e.g “molecular biology”

<p>Short and simpl sounds good to me. I'm putting mine in my awards section. Should read: "Independent Research: Fractal Economics", but I'm also using one of my short responses to talk about it and show that I am interested in pursuing it in college as an independent study as well.</p>

<p>I would find a way to explain your research experience in more detail than a few words. Research experience at the undergraduate level is becoming a more and more important selling point for colleges and they will be attracted to students who have some experience and interest in scholarly research.</p>

<p>It should be linked to your academic credentials in some way not as just another EC. Perhaps falling under "academic experiences", other "classes" etc.</p>
