If you have 2 genuine international medals at say the IMO and stuff, you’re in. I guarantee you that.

And no, i disagree with kellybkk on a few points:
I’ve never heard of an international student, much less an Indian, being an athletic recruit at MIT. They might “love” rowers, but all the sportsmen there are also extremely academically qualified.

While I know sports recruits at other Ivies such as Princeton and Cornell, the ultimate goal isn’t to “get in” to these universities. If it is for you, I have nothing to say. People use these universities as a platform to get an academically challenging environment, great professors, great opportunities for research, networking and huge career prospects. Having known several sports recruits, they invariably have super-low GPAs and don’t use the universities for the academic benefits that they’re supposed to. They’re merely “in” the college. I don’t think that’s my long term goal, and don’t have much respect for anyone who’s only goal is admission. You still have to excel when you’re there.

I feeling very sad to inform you all that I didn’t made it to the grand prize at Google code-in. The results came 4 days before. I was pretty sure that i would win. I’m Feeling so down. I got a tshirt though.
