How do I look so far?

<p>I'm a sophomore in high school. Based on what I've done so far, minus my PSAT, SAT, and ACT scores, etc, do you think I'm on the right track to get in to the following colleges?</p>

<p>California Institute of Technology
University of California--Berkeley
University of Chicago (My sister went to U of C, so that probably increases my chances of getting in)</p>

<p>9th Grade
Semester 1: 4.0 GPA
Semester 2: 3.9 GPA
Overall: 3.95 GPA</p>

Scholarly Promise Award
Scholarly Athlete Award
Honors with Special Distinction
Honors with Distinction
Tennis Varsity Letter</p>

<p>Activities:
Varsity Tennis
Team Captain in JV Brain Bowl, competed in the final round against Varsity teams
Principal Oboist in the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon
Event Coordinator & Site Coordinator for United Way 2009's Day of Caring</p>

Day of Caring 2010 Leadership Award
I may be receiving other awards, but I'm not sure yet because we haven't had the awards ceremony yet.</p>

<p>What do you think I should do to improve my ECs?</p>

<p>I’m not sure if this counts as an extra-curricular, but I may be taking a years-credit of Russian at U of C this coming summer.</p>

<p>Make sure you work hard in the coming years… CalTech is a reach (for anyone really…)
having legacy at UChicago will help a LOT. you have a very good shot there.
Join some more clubs, NHS next year, show some leadership (become varsity captain… etc) and berkley is a match too!
