how do i look

<p>so i l was looking at my transcripts and they kinda suck</p>

<p>gpa:3.1 (eewww!! so low im way smarter then this)
ap english 2 yrs
honors english 1 yr
havent taken sat yet (only a jr.)
16% of my class</p>

<p>clubs:
key club 3 yr with 200+ hrs of community service
was acepted into upword bound 3yrs held leadership for 1yr
black future leaders 3yrs
gaining early awareness and readiness for undergraduate programs leadership (gear up) 5yrs
golf for 1yr</p>

<p>also
took 3 yr of spanish
4 yrs of english/math/scinces(thinking about taking ap bio next yr)</p>

<p>i really want to go to this school and i have one year left so i need some help .. what sould i do to make me look better ?</p>

was upper middle class untill money went bad now idk
umm … ya can not think of anything more … other than i hate how low my gpa is :[</p>

<p>You have good EC’s, but you should really try to raise your GPA. As competition at the freshman level is rising higher and higher in all UC schools, the cutoff line for GPA and SAT scores might go up.</p>

<p>Raise your gpa, write a very well written, genuine essay, and you will have a good chance.</p>

<p>All I can say from reading your post is be careful on the reading and writing portion of the SAT.</p>

<p>Oh, and be sure to proofread your essay.</p>
