I have no idea how to use this site. I think I am posting on the wrong section but how do I major in Nursing?
Do I have to take the Nursing major at the 4 year university or I can major in Biology or Biochem and then go to a Nursing school for 2 years?
I got into CSULA for undeclared and they have great Nursing program (people told me). However, I don't know if I can still change my major from undeclared to Nursing. Since it is super impacted.
I am thinking of CSULA (got in as undeclared), UCR or Cal Poly Pomona.
If I go to CSULA I don't even know if I can still change my major to Nursing or not.
If I go to UCR or Cal Poly, they do not have a Nursing program. Can I major in something else like Biology and then go to a Nursing school? Or that does not work.
HELP! I am so confused. :( I am starting college this fall.

-I looked at the CSULA site, and it is confusing. I don’t know whether CSULA does direct admits into the nursing program since a student must complete certain pre-nursing courses first. So, it might be possible to apply for admission into the BSN after completing the pre-requisites. Your best bet is to check directly with CSULA.

-You can complete an entry=level MSN program after completing a bachelors degree in another field. The time to complete the program is 2-3 years, depending where you go.

-There are multiple pathways into nursing. Check these links below to see some charts that might clarify this for you.
