How do I make going to college possible for me?

Not true. There is also the FSEOG grant and some students will qualify for the ACG grants or SMART grants. These all add some $$$.

Some states also have grant programs so google those.

The Dakotas are big and isolated. It is probably going to be difficult to attend school far away with your low income and resources.
Off the top of my head one school you might want to look at is Creighton University in Omaha. You if you are in eastern Dakotas - look at colleges in Minnesota.

Keep in mind - you do not need to attend a prestigious college to be accepted to medical school. The Universtiy of ND has a medical school - check out this school.
Also the Dakotas are a member of [WICHE FRONT PAGE | Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education](http://www.wiche.edu/)

**First of all run your numbers through a financial aid calculator. **

While you may have a “0” EFC as far as federal aid is concerned, you may have a different EFC as far as tht profile is concerned. If you run your numbers through the college board make sure you run both the federal and institutional methodologies.

Remember if you father is self employed a lot of the things that he writes off, can an will be added back in for financial aid purposed.

If your family owns the farm, you do not how how they are going to access the farm, equipment, etc. You may find your self not eligible for financial aid.

Make sure that you have a financial safety in the mix.

Depending on what your EFC is build your list. Have a good number of schools where you can get merit $$. I agree with the others concerning questbridge and women’s colleges.
