can i only pay when i'm ready to submit EVERYTHING (ie. essays and the whole lot!)?

ya, you can make a payment after you submit Everything. For EA, I made mine a whole 3 days after I submitted everything.

Oh right.. so I can't pay before hand?

And Chicago's app is one whole thing.. not separated into 2 parts like some other unis?

i believe that you cay pay when ever you want, either through credit card or a check. But, i noticed that the credit card has to be on YOUR NAME in order for them to accept it. Correct me if i am wrong here. There are no parts for the application, and its byfar the most user friendly application.

it is user-friendly.. but i have noticed that i am unable to pay until i am ready to submit everything...

and i have to submit EVERYTHING together... ie. i cant submit my personal info first and then my essays later

that's interesting that it has to be your name on the credit card. I wonder why that is.

it isn't.. i dont have a credit card under my name...
and how many 17 year olds do?

im using mom's credit card

I wonder why he said that thenponders I know people with their own credit cards, but none of middle class status. I think if you're a minor it has to be under you're parent's name, or something to that effect

Your name doesn't have to be on the credit card.

It WILL say on the screen, however, that your name is on the credit card. The name, though, is not anything that gets sent to the credit card companies to verify the card/get the money. It's just part of the credit card payment program that Chicago uses that they can't change--it automatically fills in "Credit Card Holder's Name" with the applicant's name.

In sum, you are free to use your mom's card to pay online. Heh, I did!
