How do I mark a class I took at a community college?

Hey guys

I took a chemistry class at a community college over the summer before my junior year (Laney College, if any of you are familiar with it). I'm sure that some of you took classes at a community college while attending high school. I'm wondering, how do I mark this on my application and how do I add it to my gpa? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.

If you are talking about undergrad application, you will include it in the year that you took it. Or, if you took it the summer of your junior year, it counts with junior year grades. You will eventually need to send a transcript from the place and verify the grade. Oh, an A counts as weighted from college classes! As to Bs and Cs, I believe. It's on the UC app website, though, so go find what I just said again just to make sure that they didn't change it.

You will also add the institution as one you attended, and you will have to say when you attended it, too. You'll see.

Um I also have a related question... a took an intro to pscyhology course at UCLA extension....does that still count as a college course even though I took it in "extension"?

I think so, but it is best to call UCLA extensions or the office of admissions here for a definite answer. They're there for a reason, to help people with applications and what not.

It's considered a college class; when you fill out the online app, make sure you put "UCLA Extension" instead of "UCLA" for your school.
