How do I pay for college?

QUICKLY get an app into Alabama and grab that full tuition scholarship.

The deadline was extended to Jan 6th.

Send your ACT score and transcripts (it’s ok if your school doesn’t get the transcript sent in by the deadline)

Your remaining costs will only be about $15k …so your mom and dad should be able to cover that much.

<a href=“Page Not Found | The University of Alabama”>Page Not Found | The University of Alabama;

The app is VERY easy…takes like 5 minutes…no essays, no LORs.

BTW…you’ll meet a good number of fellow Californians if you go to Alabama. Calif is #5 in sending kids to Alabama because of these great scholarships.

The campus is gorgeous! (much better than those mostly ugly UC and CSU campuses …lol)

3.5 HS GPA and 34 ACT will get you some of the http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/1348012-automatic-full-tuition-full-ride-scholarships-20.html</a> .

Others have noted the University of Alabama ones (full tuition + $2,500 for engineering, though that still leaves about $10,000 per year to fund with student loans and work). If you would rather have a smaller amount needed to fund with student loans and work, there are even better scholarships at Howard, Louisiana Tech, and Prairie View A&M.

I’m really sorry about that. I want to know this too

Jichael…what do you want to know? Usually it’s better to start your OWN thread with your OWN questions.

Thanks for everyone who has replied. I live in the Silicon Valley next to a very competitive school. Therefore, although my mom’s salary is high, the high standard of living gives her very little money left for my college. She says that after taxes and the costs for our house, she only has 10,000 to 20,000 left, not including other luxuries.

That would be enough for R&B after a full tuition scholarship (like at Alabama, if you haven’t gotten that done yet).
