How do I prove

I parked really close to someone on Friday and now they're claiming that I scratched their car. They said that the scratches line up with my car (without measuring) and said that they matched my car's color (silver, so wow...). How can I prove that I didn't scratch their car? Would measuring the height of extrusions on my car work...or should I let them look over my car to see that there are no scratches on mine?

Also, one scratch is in a curved shape so...how would I have done that by parking close to you anyways...

hi julie

If they didn’t actually see you scratch their car, then they really don’t have much of an argument.

Actually, THEY have to prove that you scratched their car…burden is on them.

Is she charging you for the repairs? It’s up to her to prove that you are liable for her car’s damage. You are innocent until proven guilty.

lol. this is high school, not csi. no such thing as proving it. race your classmate over who’s right or wrong.
