I know there was a spot to put the scores in, but
the units from the AP exams are supposed to be counted towards transfer units.
And in my case, i have 59 units without the AP units,
was i supposed to mark CR(credit)for the classes that I received the units from AP exams?
and what is AR which was one of the Course Status...?

I'm wondering the same thing! Anyone out there that can help? :(

yeah, if someone could shed some light on this, that would be awesome.

so... no one knows??

AR is academic renewal.

By listing the self reported scores in the AP scores section of the application the UC campus, when evaluating your application, will be using the credit given for these exams at the UC campus. Just listing the AP exam scores is sufficient enough.

Thanks for the response. I was worried AP scores didn't count towards your unit count.

APs scores are IRRELEVANT in the transferring process.

What you should do is this:
Get college credits through your CC (community college) with your AP scores, talk to your counselor to see how the process goes. They usually giveyou grade "Pass" for a equivalent courses with the AP and you should get credit if you have a score of 3 or higher.

Once you have credits for the courses, you can put that courses with a grade "Pass" on the UC application.

This worked for me 2 years ago.

they put it as CR (credit) on my cc transcript.
So are you saying we should have put courses with the Pass, or Credit on the application?
They won't convert the score for the AP exam to units?
I hope I can make that change in January duirng updating time.
thx!
