I have been on makeup crew and costume crew for 3 plays so far, and was in a summer musical the summer after freshman year. I played volleyball freshman year, and ran track and field this year. I am a member of speech team, art club, and key club(hoping to be a key club leader next year). I am a news staff writer for the school newspaper, and next year will be features editor(hoping to become editor in chief my senior year). I will become a member of the national honor society, a school pride leader, and next year I hope to become an editor for our school's foreign language magazine. I hope to get published in my school's literary magazine, and this summer I will attend a high school journalism institute at a university. This summer I am also volunteering at a home for people with special needs, my public library, and am caddying at my local country club. I also participate in my church's youth group, and may go on a mission trip this summer. I love to write, and want to major in english!!! Am I on the right track so far, and would I be able to qualify for Columbia?

Thank you so much!
