So I just sent one of my ACT scores to Cal Poly Pomona and when I went to CSUMentor, I couldn’t see that score listed there. I was wondering how long I need to wait before it shows up so I can send it to some other cal states. Also, do I send it to only one UC?
Thank you!
If you have listed a CSU campus as an ACT score report recipient, you can use the ACT Scores Manager to release your score to additional campuses. Before you can use the ACT Scores Manager, you must first have arranged for your scores to be sent to a CSU campus.
How long has it been since you sent the test scores? Give it a week before trying to check the ACT scores Manager. If it has been more than a week, check to make sure you have all your information entered exactly as submitted to the ACT. My son abbreviated the address DR instead of spelling out Drive on the ACT registration so once he entered in the correct DR abbreviation on the score manager, the scores where there.
For the UC’s, if you send the ACT score to one campus it will be shared with all the other campuses. You can check each UC portal to confirm if you have been given your login information yet.
Well I just sent my ACT score to Cal Poly Pomona 1 hour ago. Would I just finish my college applications and mark “Scores not yet received” then?
Did you self-report your scores? Not sure where you would mark scores not yet received? In the application.
You can submit your application and then go back in before the deadline and check the ACT scores manager to see if they were sent. Also once CPP gets your application, you will be notified in a few weeks to setup your application portal to check the progress of your application.
Well, I just got my score yesterday and the writing scores aren’t available which is why I was wondering whether I should check “not received.” I did self-report my scores by clicking “Send your scores”
Why don’t you wait until you get your writing scores back, self-report and then submit the application. As long as submit your application by at least Thanksgiving, you should be fine. There is no advantage to submitting early so I would wait until it is complete with your scores.
Well, the thing is, I already clicked “Send your scores” and was able to send them.
The scores and application do not have to submitted together.
Oh so even after November 30 I can send my scores?
Most CSU’s accept the December ACT sitting so you can send them anytime as long as you meet the deadlines.
