How do I send transcripts with the Common App?

<p>I'm studying in grade 12 in a CBSE school in UAE,
I have my CBSE report card for grade 9 & 10,
and I will collect my Grade 11 report card next week,</p>

<p>I just wanted to know exactly how am I supposed to submit these transcripts?
Do I have to take scanned copies of the report cards and send it to the universities separately? I couldn't find any way to send in the Common App...</p>

<p>Or do I need to ask my school principal to send it? (No school counselor)
If so, what is the procedure to do so?
I have a feeling that they won't be familiar with the procedure, so I might need to explain it to them.</p>

<p>Typically transcripts are sent by the school or whomever you are inviting as your counselor. If mailed, they would go in a sealed envelope with an administrator’s signature or stamp across the flap to show authenticity. If emailed, they would best be sent by someone with a school email address. They do need to be sent individually to each school. Or, they can be uploaded to common app as part of the counselor’s school form.</p>
