How do I show constant interest in STEM

Hey College Confidential people. I’m currently studying in a US. high school (I’m an international student, just moved here a year ago.) as a sophomore (I’m currently 15). The college I am applying to requires me to constantly show interest in STEM (Caltech). Any suggestions on how I might do it? I’m interested in physics major.

Here’s some thing you can possibly do: Join any physics/STEM clubs at your school, do an internship related to physics/STEM, participate in summer programs concentrated on physics/STEM, take all the most rigorous STEM classes offered at your school, take summer courses at a local community college in physics, take the Math II and Physics SAT subject tests, etc.

I hope this helps give you some ideas!

Pour your heart into competitions/research.

@VinPdyn if you are interested in those fields, it should come naturally to you. We shouldn’t need to tell you what to do.

However, @sophie9999 offers some good suggestions if you are interested in physics. However I wouldn’t really count “taking Math II and Physics” - Caltech requires Math II and a science test anyway, and high grades/test scores are a must. You can also check out different physics competitions, such as USAPhO.
