How do I show my website for colleges?

I’m a student interested in majoring in Computer Science of Engineering. I’m currently learning more Java, but as of now, my HTML and CSS seem to be decent, I want to show schools my passion and some projects I have been working on. Is there a way on Common App to show my work? Do I put a link to my site on my “Activities” part on my profile?

Again, I want to show schools my devotion to a certain interest I have so they can see what knowledge I have already, I appreciate any help - thanks!

Put the URL in the “Additional Information” section with a one line description. But don’t overestimate how much the colleges will value this. Much more important are your actual grades in math/sci and CS classes (if any).

My kiddo got accepted into 3 comp engineering schools – citing coding as a hobby and website development/administration as an EC. No CS classes. She didn’t even link the URL. But with top math/sci grades and test scores, she had no problems.

“I want to show schools my passion and some projects I have been working on.”

You may have to tell them, rather than show them. A busy admin officer may or may not take the time to click on a link, so make sure you described your interests and projects and, more importantly, what they say about you as a potential admit. This isn’t about having the slickest web-site ever created. It’s about displaying your intellectual curiosity, sense of humor, drive, or whatever characteristics are ‘you.’

And of course, none of that matters if you don’t have the grades and test scores. Common Data Set, Section C for each school you are applying to is your best source of information about your chances of admission.
