<p>I am having trouble starting the common app short essay that asks you to "elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities". I think I know what I want to write about -- I founded a rather unique club at my high school -- but I don't know exactly how to approach it. Any suggestions?</p>
<p>You can
A) list your accomplishments and give a brief description of the activity
B) Give a brief anecdote that somehow describes your activity and your accomplishments (a lot harder in my opinion).
Just try not to make it too generic.</p>
