<p>This guy asked me out, but I have to turn him down because I'm dating this other guy exclusively. He thinks it's because he's homeless that I'm turning him down, but that's not true, as I've dated a homeless guy before (although he does kind of stink). How should I get him to stop being interested in me? He keeps winking at me every time he sees me, and I don't know what to do.</p>

<p>I normally don’t do PDA. I think it’s tacky, and nobody here ever does it here either. Anyway, your suggestion sounds kind of mean. He actually doesn’t live in a cardboard box but in a shelter. He will just have to lose interest in me over time, I think.</p>

<p>Tell him it’s because he’s homeless (even if it isn’t), and maybe he’ll try to change his life around so he’s not homeless (even if he can’t do it, maybe he’ll try if he’s not). </p>
<p>I don’t think you’ll be hurting his feelings to tell him that girls don’t like homeless guys, I think this is something he’s come to realize.</p>

I don’t hate homeless people. I’m from NYC, I know at least 3 personally whom I see everyday, I volunteer in soup kitchens. I do make jokes about hobos, sometimes to hobos, and they laugh. No hobo has ever gotten offended like you did. They are not PC, these people.</p>

Well, first remind him you’re in an exclusive relationship, and if he doesn’t believe you, introduce your boyfriend to him. That way he’ll know you’re not lying and it won’t hurt his feelings as much.</p>

I’ve made jokes about asians before, forgetting people can’t see i’m asian-american. oh well oh, and I made a joke about stereotypical south asian pre-meds which I got blasted for, called racist, etc. But i am a stereotypical south asian pre-med myself! But people enjoy nothing more than calling each other racist/sexist. And another thing i’ve noticed (here goes me being stereotypical again) is it’s often white people. the very liberal white folks love nothing more than to get offended on other people’s behalfs, they love this more than talking about global warming, animal rights, anything! Oh damn I’m going to get blasted again…haha. just an observation! an asian can’t make an asian joke anymore or else caucasians get too upset and offended.</p>

<p>I just watched that video, knowing you would bring it up. He never said he supports secession, he simply said that secession is not “treason”, as some people would characterize it. </p>
<p>Ron Paul is right on this. Secession can be very much justified if the federal government were unable or unwilling to act with the interest of the people in mind. I am not saying we are currently at that point or that we ever will get to that point, but if we were to, secession would be completely necessary.</p>
