How do I withdraw an app?

<p>I was just accepted to my top choice school (:-D)
and would like to withdraw my apps so as to give others a chance at getting accepted. I have had particular trouble with NYU; I mailed a letter to them a few weeks ago asking to have my application removed from consideration, only to get a letter today congratulating me for getting in (or something along those lines) ....</p>

<p>I can't seem to find an email address at which I can contact them... any help?</p>

<p>Also, what is a nice way to say no to a college? (I don't want to hurt their feelings, after all ;-) )</p>

<p>Don't worry about hurting feelings......just write a letter that includes, thanks, I'm withdrawing my application and tell them where you are going, if you want. If they continue to send stuff, don't worry about it, it just means that the system is not perfect. They'll catch it sooner or later.</p>
