<p>Do I write the "additional info" section of common app in essay form?
I mean, I don't know any other way to write it, but is there an easier way other than writing out a completely new essay???</p>
<p>Yeah, I just wrote paragraphs for mine. Not sure if there are other ways that are acceptable, but I just found it easiest I guess.</p>

<p>I think if you're trying to explain circumstances that affected you negatively in high school that weren't addressed in the app, then paragraphs are probably cool. Same if there's this one thing that needs a lot of explaining. But for mine I uploaded my resume, which was basically a list in three parts--extracurricular stuff, awardish stuff, and work stuff.</p>
<p>I didn't write paragraphs (just a sentence or two) because my additional info was just random stuff the adcoms might be confused about. (My teachers refer to me with different names, why I didn't take German 2, etc.)</p>
<p>But as colly says, if it were something more serious, you should elaborate.</p>
