How do international degrees transfer?

I’m going to major in social work. I am very interested in studying in Scotland, at the University of Edinburgh. Their social work program consists of 4 years, then I am licensed in the UK. However, the licensing process in the US is far more complicated, consisting of 3,000 hours of unlicensed supervised work and yada yada yada. I know I wouldn’t be licensed if I moved back to the States from the UK, or would I? Could I still get a government or an agency job if I was licnesed in the UK buut not here (could I get a social work job here)? I guess what I am asking is:

  1. Would I be licensed in the US?
  2. If not, would I be able to get a social work job here without an official US degree?
  3. What associated jobs could I do here in the US with a social work degree from the UK?

Thanks

It appears that you would need a US MSW.
