I forget - how do midterms and finals factor into final grades? Thanks :)

At my school they are worth 10% of the final grade.

Oh okay, that sounds right. What kind of equation would I use to find my FG then, if my midterm and final are both worth 10% and each quarter is worth 20%?

I’m not the best at math :/

Midterms- 10% 1st Sem grade
Finals-15% final grade

Thank ya, but that’s not how my school does it.

Can someone please give me an equation to figure out my FG based on my last post?

Take the numeric grade of each quarter and midterm and final and multiply by its weight, then add it all together.

.20(Q1+Q2+Q3+Q4) + .10(MG+FG) = final weighted grade for the year, assuming midterm and final grades don’t affect quarter grades.

MIT already explained it, but I cleared it up just in case.

Thanks. I appreciate it.
