Hello, I have a question. How do minors work when you are concurrently working on your major? Do the minors you do in college get recorded or note? How would employers view the minors? Are minors helpful to one and their future success? How exactly do minors work for people double majoring? And are minors useful when applying to graduate school? Also, can you take at least 4 minors within your college career? And one last thing, how can someone who has some minors benefit in the long run and also in real life?

lol, I think that's all the questions I have about minors and what I am perplex about. I apperciate it. : ).

The short answer is they add additional breadth/depth to your education, and since they require a specified amount of study in a particular area, they add qualification to your resume for both professional work and graduate school.

As an example, in my case, I am majoring in Accounting and minoring in psychology (I am close to a second minor in Spanish--but decided against it because I don't have the room to fit the credits in and I'm already bilingual), which at my school allows me to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting (irrelevant for employers)... however, grad schools may look positively on it, and the fact that I minored in psychology may convince employers that I am more "well rounded" than somebody with just a major.
