How do our CCs send our GPAs for Cal Grant?

<p>ayymeer and ryan were talking about this in another thread and it was worrying me a bit. My school states that they send them out electronically. So what do I personally have to do other than signing up for FAFSA? Do I have to go to the financial aid office in person and request that they send it? I heard some schools automatically send them? So they pretty much send every single student's GPA?</p>

<p>To apply for a Cal Grant, a student must file a FAFSA application and submit verification of their GPA. Note: SMC submits electronically the GPA for students that have earned 16 or more degree applicable units.</p>

<p>So if I have like 50 units, they will automatically send my GPA???</p>
