how do people get into universities by using questbridge

how does questbridge work?

I didn’t actually use Questbridge because I wasn’t ready to commit to a school if accepted so I may be wrong about some of this.

Basicallly, they contacted me via e-mail, and you went to the website (questbridge.org I think). There was an application there much like the commonapp (really just like any old college app). You filled it out, chose which schools you wanted to send it to and that was it. Early deadline. I think it was like November 1. I think if you got accepted, you got a full ride (although only some colleges partcipate in it), if not, you were reconsidered with the RD pool.

at least thats what I think

hopefully someone else whos more knowledgeable will help you out

so does questbridge pay for you?

Nope, the school does. Basically you apply to the schools using questbridge’s application and if you get in to the school you get a full ride without any loans. :D

so it is harder to get into a school by questbridge? is it like early decision where you can only apply to one school and have to go if accepted? is your application looked at differently if you use questbridge?
