Don’t hang that poster in your room, just saying…

Use some kneaded art -tack-looks like a kneadable eraser .Break off small pieces and hang up posters on most walls .

Batllo: why?

blue poster tack stuff is what i use. I tried several others but it just didn’t work and damaged my posters.

I think its called locktite?

I use 3M Command poster tape. They don’t leave residue and they’re easy to remove. Any good hardware store (or just go to Amazon) will have them.

e: I bought these I believe

I have to dissagree. First off, they were, for whatever reason, visable through my posters, they are also a pain to get off of them (if you wished to keep the poster and not rip it to heck and back).

poster putty

Sorry to hear that man. Can’t see 'em through either poster, although you’re right they probably would leave residue on the poster :S

My dorm has a bulletin board next to my bed for putting up posters, pictures, and other things. I just use the thumbtacks they provide.

Poster tacky can work pretty well. I had some photos that were matted that I have hung my putting tape across the mat then I put a command strip on the tape. It works pretty well and says up better than the tacky.

i used to have a wu tang poster up until i realized it made me look like a stan

now i dont hang anything up

My daughter framed a few posters and used command strips to hang them up.

I used some poster putty freshmen year and it left a residue on my posters and “easily removable” poster tape ripped some of my other posters. Last year I used command poster strips and they work great and don’t damage the posters.

Whatever I had? Sticky-tack, tape, and pins mixed with prayers.

You probably don’t want to hang a framed picture over or beside your bed though; the walls aren’t that sturdy and the entire thing might come down when you’re there.

Elmer’s glue seems to work just fine, it only adds a little discoloration to the poster but it seems sturdy, I can’t comment on how easy the removal is, because I haven’t had to do so yet.

Please don’t hang that poster up.

I bought cheap frames and hung them with 3M command tape. The walls are painted with this glossy paint that nothing will stick to, and they only lasted a few weeks. I took them out of the frames and they are now on the wall with masking tape on the backs, which has worked well. Just have to be careful getting the tape off.
