How do SAT and ACT score sending work?

When I register, the ACT and SAT give me the option to send my scores to colleges. I don't know where I want to go. If I don't select colleges at my registration time, does that mean I won't be able to send those scores to colleges anymore?

See this for how to send SAT score reports:

[Send SAT Scores - Send SAT Results to Colleges, Universities or Scholarship Programs](<a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board)

They are just giving you 4 FREE when you register, but you can later send scores to any schools you choose, you just have to pay for them.

Be careful about using the free score reports, you need to balance the money saved vs. which scores you want sent to best represent your ability. For instance, if you’re planning on also taking the ACT, you might want to wait and see which one you do better on. Or if you plan to use score choice, you might want to wait and find out your results before sending.
