how do the warren ge area studies work?

Do the three classes that fall under one of the two categories need to be of same subject? For example is it required for me to take 3 psychology classes or could i take classes of different subjects within one of the two categories?

^They have to be in the same subject unless they’re marked as specialized, which in that case you get a list to chose from.

If you took an AP courses chances are you’ll be able to use the credit to cover the two lower division courses, meaning you only need to take one upper div course for that category. It’s a pretty sweet deal if you want to take out irrelevant courses. Although, it kind of bit me in the butt because now I’m scrambling for courses to take in order qualify for financial aid.

It’s two upper division courses for each area study, not 1.
