How do These Colleges Feel About a Transfer Student?

<p>I really screwed up my chances of going to any college as first year from bullying, depression, being homeless, and other crap. I was thinking of working my ass off at a community college, taking SAT subjects tests and retaking the ACT.</p>

<p>How will these colleges feel about a transfer student, what grades and kind ECs are they looking, and which of these are gay-friendly? Any suggestion for other liberal art colleges will be helpful too. I am a guy btw.</p>

<p>It sounds like you’re had some really tough challenges. Unfortunately, it is tough to get into these school regardless of whether or not you came from CC or another college. Yes, these schools are gay-friendly, but many campuses across the country are gay-friendly. You may want to go to the forum that discusses community colleges to get more insight, as this same question is asked there frequently.</p>
